How much involvement is needed from me?

Fora Travel is a host agency & global network of travel advisors. BLC Travel LLC operates as an independent affiliate of Fora, which means we have access to exceptional industry partnerships, resources, and support — while maintaining our own distinct brand and client experience.

Through Fora, we’re connected to invite-only affiliations such as Virtuoso and brand-specific programs like Belmond Bellini Club or Four Seasons Preferred, allowing us to secure preferred perks, VIP recognition, and added value at top hotels worldwide. We also benefit from a collaborative community of travel advisors and extensive ongoing training - keeping our recommendations current, thoughtful, and well-informed.

What is Fora Travel?

In most cases, booking through us costs no more than booking directly. We secure the same publicly available rates — and in some instances, preferred rates — while often adding meaningful value through our trusted hotel partnerships. These benefits may include daily breakfast, room upgrades, property credits, and priority guest recognition.

You’ll still earn eligible hotel loyalty points and enjoy credit card benefits just as you would when booking on your own. We’re happy to apply your loyalty numbers and payment preferences to every reservation. In short, you receive the same rates — often with more care, added value, and a seamless experience.

Does it cost more to book hotels through you? Can I still earn credit card and loyalty points?

How far in advance should I reach out to start the planning process?

Most clients begin planning 5–6 months in advance. For peak travel periods — such as summer and holidays — or highly sought-after and complex experiences like safari, we recommend 6–12 months of lead time to ensure access to the best accommodations and private experiences. Inquiries for trips departing in less than 60 days are subject to a rush planning fee.

Our services are offered through a professional planning fee, which reflects the time, expertise, and care required to design a truly bespoke journey. Planning fees vary based on the level of support and complexity of your trip.

Hotel-only bookings are always complimentary.
